Folks, here's the deal(my joe Biden impression). Very nice cabins with everything you need to feel like you are just at a relative or friends place. Todd, the owner was extremely helpful and informative. Rates were more than acceptable and when the heat died down in the evening, fish after fish was caught. The only complaint I have is there was a mealy mouthed old cuck in the fish cleaning station hooting and laughing and skipping from one side of the fish house to the other.....I made myself scarce as to not have to fight off an old beta simp cuck who was speaking in so much random hoots and hollars that I thought Scottie Wallis was there. YEWWWWW!!!
Great resort. Owner Todd and Mona were very friendly and helpful. Cabins, grounds and docks were very clean and in great shape. Been coming to Chetek for over 50 years and this is our favorite resort. Grandson can't wait to come back.
We stayed in cabin two. Our entire family had five out of the seven cabins for the week. Loved the view. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced for the week. Rented a pontoon boat for the week. Also, great on price. Drive the pontoon boat a couple of local restaurants to eat dinner. Spent one day at the roped off beachy area for the family to swim, float, and play volleyball. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back in the future.
5/5 This was year 2 of many staying at Sunrise! This place was just perfect for a family of 6 and a dog! The cabins were clean and had everything that we needed. The boat ran perfect!!The owners were awesome with answering questions and helping when needed.
Todd and Mona are excellent hosts and run a wonderful resort! Cabins are perfect and ready to enjoy as soon as you pull in! The grounds are very well kept, the fish cleaning house is perfectly set up, docks are in immaculate condition. There's even a welcoming cookie bag on the table! We stayed in June and brought a friend back up in August and made reservations for next June to come up with other friends.
Just left sunrise for the second year in a row. I come with my brother and grandfather and it’s our favorite. The owners are so accommodating and sweet. The owners are helpful and everything is well kept from the cabins to the pontoon we rented. My brother, grandfather, and I are already looking at dates for re-booking next summer. I can’t wait to make so many more memories here as time goes on. One of my favorite vacations ever!
The cabins are in excellent condition and in a great location in the chain. The owners are attentive, accommodating, and provide great service while also just being great people to talk to. After 30+ years of staying at another resort, this was our family’s first year at Sunrise and we are all looking forward to many more!!
